Before you can take bookings or raise invoices, you need to define what your facility offers. Canterly supports several service types to match any equestrian business model.
Service types
Lessons
Individual or group riding instruction sessions.
- Set duration, capacity, and pricing
- Assign an instructor
- Configure whether a facility horse is provided or clients bring their own
- Support for lesson packages (e.g. block of 10)
Boarding
Accommodation for client-owned horses at your facility.
- Define board types (full board, partial board, DIY)
- Set monthly rates
- Attach services (farrier, feed, turnout) to a board package
Leases
Formal horse leasing arrangements where a client gains regular access to a specific horse.
- Set lease period, days, and times
- Configure pricing (weekly, monthly)
- Link to a specific horse in your roster
Packages
Bundles of sessions or services sold as a single product.
- Bundle lessons, clinics, or other services
- Set an expiry on package credits
- Track usage automatically against bookings
Memberships
Subscription-based access to your facility or services.
- Monthly or annual billing cycles
- Grant access to lesson slots, arenas, or other benefits
- Integrate with recurring billing
Managing products
All products are managed from the Products section in the sidebar.
- Click New Product and choose a type
- Fill in pricing, capacity, and configuration options
- Set the product to Active to make it available for booking and invoicing
Products can be deactivated at any time without affecting existing bookings or invoices.
